I agree, they're only original once. I too would rather have/see/run an original, than a repainted beauty. I think that is a very reasonable price. And, one that will not let you take her home. There may be some more utility boxes out there lurking in barns, but this is the only one I've ever seen. It's an original bike, so it stays in one piece. You might not tell it from the picture, but there are quite a few scratches on the utility box, and other places. The Utility Box is a Harley factory option. Apparently the gas petcock went bad, and the previous owner replaced it with the wrong one, so it is missing the two plastic petcock controls (on/off and reserve). The clutch has always made some noise - but maybe this is a Topper thing. I have a Maryland title, and an excellent condition 1962 MD motorcycle tag. And I do have the hubcap! No, it's not a Hummer - but the Topper engine is basically a 165cc version of a BT lying sideways, with a reed valve. Dave
