Doug, the front fender is correct. The seat's right, just needs black stitching instead of white. His kick lever is a 1955-66 WIDE lever that uses the long bolt. The muffler and hanger is a 57 and later low model muffler, the tool box AND TOOLS are STANDARD issue on all models 48-59 (except HUMMER),the rear fender is a 53-59 ST/B model fender,51 models have only a handful of cad plating on the entire bike, the carb hasn't been touched, the spark plug wire should be the hook end wire, the regulator is a repop of the 56-59 ST DR794,upper pipe clamp should be the lipless one,the petcock and fuel line are 55-59 HUMMER,59 ST and 60-66 all models, the brake light switch should be parkerized along with the pull wire and the spring should be black, should have a cad plated clip to hold the clutch vcable to the frame just above the front motor mount, the cables should be the small diameter cloth covered cables (52 models were the start of the large diameter cloth cover cables), teh number wheels should have a red 10th,and the timing over is a 53-39 165 ST model cover.
Options for 1951 included crash bars, chrome rims, chrome handlebars and the special colors of that year.

OK ,uh, thank you Mutt,

It is all right with me if you tell me my knowledge was not as deep a yours, I
only rode one (or 3, many) years ago and am now working on my (1) bike (I
hope it will exceed 35 points). But I will get to ride it....

So is that the (or "a") correct front fender?
Isn't something wrong with the shape of the seat, like "sway back"?
Are you reffering to the shift or kick start lever as"kicker lever"?
Do you have to have the toolbox (for judging) wasn't it an option?

Doug

Fender flair (both), regulator, (795 not the 307), cover right side up, wrong
Delco Remy (no made in USA), rubber fuel line, wrong petcock(?), hose clamp
on the air cleaner, Wrong rear view mirrors, something wrong with the brake

Of course I'm not practised at looking at the details.
