Further info, I used new bearings from one of our suppliers, A set of 6203.03 FAB. I'm Sorry but I didn't take the crank apart, nor did I measure the lengths of the crank ends nor did I compare the thickness of the bearings. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- I Know this is going to be difficult, bear with me.. I'm reassembling my 48 And the transmission went in easily, I think. The crank has problems though, When attaching the cog I have Slop on the taper, I cannot tighten the nut enough to pull the shaft thru the bearings to get the cog snug on the shaft. Whats a body to do?
