I'd like to pull the shaft out but am not sure I want to try with the bearings in the way, and I don't want to pull the threads off the shaft. Bruce ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- I Know this is going to be difficult, bear with me.. I'm reassembling my 48 And the transmission went in easily, I think. The crank has problems though, When attaching the cog I have Slop on the taper, I cannot tighten the nut enough to pull the shaft thru the bearings to get the cog snug on the shaft. Whats a body to do?
