Ask lots of questions. The members here know their Hummers! otis ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Hay, I bought my first type S (125) in 1967 as soon as I could drive. Because My parents WOULD NOT have let me ride a motorcycle, but a hummer was OK. Good source of help here, to get (or keep) you on track with your project. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- What you have gotten yourself into is an honest piece of historic American motorcycle. This hobby is taking off like a rocket. The Hummer Bug is little, just like the machine. BUT it has steel jaws, once bitten,it doesn't let go. Most of us owned one in the 50's, and this is a time machine for us. Saddle up and welcome, these people are the best and will help you every step of the way ! ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- I purchased a 1959 165 what have i got my self into. |
