The seat on your bike is a correct Harley accessory part. I have the same seat on my 1963 Pacer. The serial number on the motor will tell the correct year of your Pacer. Five oz. of oil per gallon is the correct ratio. Use a two cycle oil ment for air cooled engins - not TCW3 which is for water cooled motors. I have used Lawn Boy oil for years without any problems. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- I want to know if there is more specific information on my bike. I do know the paint is wrong. It was origionally red and white. The man I bought it from painted it in 1974 so it would be more camoflauged on the way to his deer stand. He purchased it in 1973. The bike has buddy pegs and a big seat. I have yet to find any pictures of a 63' with these options. Is this aftermarket? Where can I find parts? What is the fuel to oil ratio? Where do I start? It seems to be in fair condition and I can't wait to jump in to the restoration project with both feet. My only hesitation is that I know next to nothing about the small Harleys. I have restored other bikes, but they have all been Hondas. I want to bone up on my 63' Pacer knowledge, If that is indeed what I have, before I start. I am hoping that someone will be able to help with some info. The information I have already gotten from this site has helped a lot and I would like to learn more.
