Hi Sonny The ign. switch might be the problem. I had some new ones that were not tied in on the back side of the contacts like the original ones were. If your old switch is original turn it upside down and compare the two of them and see if all the terminals are the same.On the original switch you will see where the terminals are conected. On some of the new switches they are not conected and this will make the switch not work right in your bike. Hope this is some help to you.
