The Topper Color/Equipment/Accessories Manual that Harley printed has the same info for 1960. The 61 list Granada Green and White. My 65 is black and white which this book list as a 63 and 64 only color. Maybe the colors overlaped the year models. Roy ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- According to the Harley-Davidson-published book "The Legend Begins", there was only one color combination offered on the 1960 Topper: "Two-Toned Strato Blue." In the picture, the Topper "Two-Toned" treatment appears to be a combination of white panels with blue main areas. By the way, 1960 was the first year of Topper production, which should enhance the collectibility of the scooter. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- I am restoring a '55 ST 165, but came across a cool '60 Harley Topper just a few miles from my house. Can anyone tell me what colors these little scooters came in? This one is green, and I am concerned this was not an original color. Thanks! |
