Absolutely....just make sure you are on a buddy seat with no passenger.

Back in the day, when these bikes were new we rode them constantly "two up" in excess of 300 lbs, and they worked fine. These old vintage bikes will not pass many of our current safety standards so don't get carried away and think it will provide dependable and safe transportation beyond a short trip with pals on secluded roadways with a pick-up truck close behind. But, after all, that's what makes it so much fun. Good luck

Just wondering, I used to ride a two-stroke 125 dirt bike in high school and I weighed 225 then? I really have an itch for a '58 165. But will give up plans if I can't ride it. What should be the riders top weight be, in your opinion? Thanks for your help. Dan
