Here are the answers to your questions. The best place to find parts is right here on this website and ofcourse watching eBay. Hummers did not come from the Factory with a speedometer. It was an "option" You should have no probles with that at the DMV. It's just like 1965 and older cars don't need seat belts, as they didn't come from the Factory with them,so you don't have to have them.If your bike didn't come from the Factory with turn signals, you don't have to have them to register it. As the other guy says, go thru INTERNATIONAL TITLE SERVICE. Here is the link, jusy copy and paste it into your browser. http://www.its-titles.com/ We bought a pile of Sportsters and parts. Not a single one of these bikes had titles (or even a bill of sale) We sent our stuff to ITS & ordered titles for 5 sportsters. In 7 working days, we had 5 titles in our hands. Harley Davidson Titles, not builders titles. 55-56 Hummer models didn't have a front brake from the Factory. The 57 models did. If you don't plan to "restore" the bike and just want something cool to ride, I would keep the 55-56 spool hub on the bike. The rear brake will easily stop the bike if it is simply adjusted correctly. If you plan to pull the wheels apart and re-do them, I have a complete front brake assembly powdercoated and ready to install. A service manual can be purchased here http://cube.redravenproducts.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=514 I have the correct carb for your 57 in stock.
