Sonny, don't get discouraged juat yet, You do have a few options.

1) Wait (maybe a LONG time) until one pops up on eBay you can afford.

2) offer to pay someone a ridiculous amount for one from their stash or

3)if you simply want to be able to ride your bike, use one of these. They are inexpensive, readily available and screw right into your tank with no modifications. You will only need a short piece of 1`/4" rubber fuel line and the 1959 ST needle seat (seat cost $9)

Or if you want to try and retain the original copper fuel line, I can modify the fuel valve and your original fuel line will thread right on to the fuel valve like the original. If you want a more "retro look, I can strip all the chrome off before modifying the bottom of the valve and the valve won't look out of place on the bike.

I'm still trying to get my little Hummer 1956 165 running. My old fuel valve was stuck up so bad I can't get any fuel through it.

PS; TO MY KNOWLEDGE, THERE ARE NO PETCOCKS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE THAT ARE WORTH SPIT. THEY HAVE A SIGNIFICANT MFG. DEFECT WHICH GUARANTEES FAILURE.
