much obliged. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- No, you aren't missing anything. That's the way the throttle is supposed to work. turn it on / turn it off. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- still plugging away these cold evenings with my 65 pacer and had a question about the throttle control. i took it apart per the service manual and cleaned and inspected the pieces. my guess is these throttles arent what you call a dead man stick? are they supposed to roll back if you let go? the manual doesnt mention this. the spring that is in there only seems to function so that you can tighten down the main screw but still let the throttle move... am i missing something? thanks chris indianapolis |
