this is a great site with some really smart bikers on it. i'd say don't mess with it if its original and you can get it to run with a carb (if you can find one...)if it runs ride it. lets see a picture! i got more questions with my '63 scat than my buddy and his knuckle! ticked him off...... ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Well i was pretty lucky to find this site its helping me learn about my dads uncut 65 scat but i would like to know what i could start to do to restore it. It has been sitting in storage since 94 because it doesnt have a carb. I do remember my dad squirting gas in the intake with a pop bottle and starting it probably about 7 years ago. The only defects that i can think of right now is the seat is torn up and the rear tailight is cracked the front brake lever is missing and there may be a few small dents in the front fender. The vin is 65BTH1887.Holiday red in color.
