Rich, They may be available but you probably don't want to use one, the later piston and rod have more life, and are available. I have a 48 rebuilt (not restored) to be a rider, unfinished (charging issues with the wiring of igni/regulator on a 2 brush generator). I use my parts manual (53) with its years the part was used to clue me to the appropriate part&service procedure. My service manual is a copy that includes "Super 10".
