I don't own a Hummer but I have been interested since working on my Topper. I have a 1960 Topper and one of the problems I have had for 47 years is the not so bright headlight. The Topper is almost the same 165 cc engine as the Hummer. It runs from a magneto. The headlight has always been mostly a dim warning that the scooter is on the road. Not something I would want to use for night time riding. The tail light also dims when stopped at a stop sign and the rpm's drop. Is there a solution to the problem short of redesigning the electrical system?

Thanks, it is fun to read all the fixes on this sight, and interesting to see the pictures of the nice looking little Harleys.
