Tried the correct skateboard for the 1951 but the clay wheels seized-up just like the wheel. Installing baby buggy wheels and hoping for the best! (alright, Leroy got me straightened out up at his place). Thanks all, Peter ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Peter: Look at PN 43736-51. That is the front wheel bearing spacer. Did you put one in ??? If not , you must do so. If that isn't the problem, e-mail and I will try to help. An attention getting (stupid option), tighten up, real tight so the wheel will not turn and strap a skateboard to the front wheel. This will save tire wear also. Problem solved. DUANE ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Hello, This could be a real novice problem but have been struggling to get my front wheel set up correctly now that all the parts are in place. As I tighten down the right, nut/washer side it wants to pull the fork leg/ brake assembly tight to the drum/hub. I have tried tightening the left side first, right side first and it still wants to tighten and bind-up. Please help me with the obvious, because the obvious is escaping me. Thanks folks, Peter/ Seattle. |
