OK, that makes 5 sets.

Actually, mine is a Topper set (94406-59 "Tool Roll and Tools") in the original box. The newspaper packing is from April 231959. The bag is grey cloth. It has an additional double-ended 7/16 open end wrench

Duda - are you listening? I can't find my Topper Parts Catalog right off, is this listed in there?

Looking in the Parts Catalog, the combination pliers have a -12 part number. A couple of the others have -38 or -44, but most are -47, so I guess they were not available for big twins.

I've got another oddity - but I'll post that in a new thread.

OH - what are these "tool handles"?

Hello Dave, I have both sets NOS, the second set even has the tool box with them !!!!. The early tools (pre-55) are in a canvas bag, the post 55 tool set is in a black Royalite type bag. The dogleg wrench came out in the later tool set, along with the Philips screwdriver. Danny Baran also has a NOS early set of tools in the canvas roll. I have 3 spare tool handles if anyone is interested. $6 each plus $2 for shipping.

I know only three people who have the set, and only one has the roll. There are probably a few more out there, but not many.

H-D also sold tool sets for the Topper, and the Topper set is identical except it has one additional wrench.

Some of these tools could have been sold with the big Harleys, so you may be able to piece a set together. Anyone know about big twin tools?

The odd bent 3/4" open end wrench may be Hummer/Topper specific - not sure.

So now you have a mission - dig through every box at every swap meet until you assemble a set - as I don't think any of the three will be getting off of theirs anytime soon.
