Oh believe me I intend to ride her! Im not a weekend warrior trailer pullin kind of guy. Im already thinkin about a contraption that would let me pull her behind my fatboy , so as to hop around in new locations.

Gene, owning history may be OK, but riding the little beasties (mine the under-powered '48) is the real pleasure of owning them.

Thanks for the responses.
I have so far obtained a rider handbook and a spare parts catalog.
I have ordered a repair manual.
I have been looking at pictures, ads, etc.
I have looked at I think every picture on this web site (along with a couple other sites)
Im excited. It left Toledo Ohio today. When it arrives I will take a few good pictures and post them for people to see and comment on.
Im looking forward to absorbing all I can regarding these great little bits of harley history!
Gene

Hi there Gene, welcome to the club. You have just bought the most fun project you ever could find.Sorry someone didnt get back to you sooner,,most likely they were waiting to see who would get to you first before they answered and you just slipped throught the cracks.WONT happen again.
Robbie hit the nail on the head when he said GET parts book,READ READ READ. Look at ALL pictures on this site and others. The section on How to Restore should get you started. Also send a good picture to us and say OK fellows what have I got and whats missing.Once you know what you have, what you need and===well,,just leave it to the judges
Gene,I thought you would like to see this,,Machines like this (from old post)was a start for someone.

Hello.
It seems like not many people on this site! Ive asked a few questions but have received few responses!
I am going to try again.
Where does one go to find amca judging rules?
Where does one go to find out what my bike should look like if its to be original?
I was told by seller that it is all oriiginal cept for a few things like chain, spedo cable, couple bolts.
I would like a dialogue with someone regarding these bikes, since I dont personally know anyone with knowedge of them!
Thanks in advance...Gene
Gene,
All the info on AMCA judging is on their website. the handbook is downloadable to members. Not a Member? Then join!
Most of the restoration info you need is on this site, just look through it all. And get yourself a partsbook. It will show the differences from model to model.
