Remember the sportster has non-splined as well as splined levers, I think they're a little shorter than the 125-165 and only available with the rubber covered bolt for toe tab like the later 165 lever. You can ride it till you find the correct one.

I put a bid in on that lever but I figgered it must be someone in this forum bidding on it so I backed off and am happy to see You got it.
There will be another.LOL

I bought the shift lever on ebay for $48.99 I have been trying to get one for a couple of months, no luck. The Harley Hummer Nut has them on his web site, I tried to get some parts from him, he answered my first emails but when I then asked for info to buy he wouldn't answer,I tried 4 times and finally gave up.

I gave up on original and use Sportster levers or make my own (since I can). I'll leave the Original to those of you guys that want to show your bikes.

Just wondering how rare the shift levers are for the 57 or so years of the Hummers,34600-54 or a 34606-54A
I posted a thread in need of a shift lever and did not get a single reply so I am just wondering.

I didn't think they were that hard to come by, I don't have an extra, but there is one on ebay right now and the bids aren't that high. Hope this helps. I'll take another look through my parts pile and see if I missed one. Good luck.
