Gene, It gets mailed tomorrow to your address from NJ. This is Dave's autographed edition. Books, like motorcycles, show their age when the miles are put on. Let's all treat it like the gift it is. I'm honored to be a part of this. Enjoy! OOps, I just got contacted by Dave. He wants me to unbox it and sign my name to it with date....and everyone who reads it....make that Wednesday.

Do you like to read books?

Phil Kaufmann was one of the first honorary members of the Harley Hummer Club - he donated the original "Club Plan" passbook (See, http://www.harleyhummerclub.org/stuff/clubplan )

We reproduced this to be the original "Harley Hummer Club" membership cards. During the first few years of the Club (1979-1982 ?), each member received one of these passbooks with their name and renewal date filled in, and signed by yours truly.

Phil later wrote his autobiography, which is filled with stories from when he was Road Manager for bands like Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones, EmmyLou Harris, and many, many others.

When singer Gram Parsons died, how he and a friend stole Gram's body and disposed of it according to Gram's wishes - but against local ordinances.

Phil's been around the block (and around the world) a time or two. And has a lot of good stories to tell.

If you like to read wacky stories, I'll send it to you. When you're done, send it back to me, or send it to the next person on the list.

Who's next?

Dave
