Gene,

The top fork plate has the speedometer blanking plate (Hummer). It has a front brake (57-59 Hummer or others). No fork panel (Hummer or missing from a different model). The gas tanks has no switch (Hummer or 1960's). The fuel valve has the barb end on it (Hummer or 1960's).

The frame appears to be a 58-59 Hummer with the coil mount on the downtube, and the integral footrest tube, but it's hard to tell from the picture. It's hard to see if it has the mounting tab for the toolbox (Hummer and 1960's did not). Can't see the other side whether it has the horn mounting tab on the rear of the frame (Hummer and later did not).

Put it all together, and my best guess is that it's a 58-59 Hummer with a different engine.

Besides the parts you mentioned, the front fender is cut off at both the front and rear. Wonder if the headlight dimmer switch is there attached to the top fork plate (can't see from angle in picture).

The shifter is missing and there appears to be a big blemish in the primary case just in front of the shifter/kickstarter shaft.

The engine obviously won't run without a carburetor. What will it take to make it run? Is there a title that matches the engine serial number?

Here's what you need to have a running, street-legal bike (just a wild guess on prices): engine with title $1000; headlight $200; taillight $100; chainguard $100; front fender $200; squeeze bulb horn from a bicycle $?; misc other stuff.

Take a look at "eBay: Blessing or Curse" over in the "Stuff" section of this web site. Those prices are about 5 years old, but that gives a general idea.

helo.
can anyone look at this (Mutt for example!) and tell me what this frame is? the engine is 65bth but this frame is rigid, fenders arent high for a scat and neither is exhaust. so, its an engine in a different frame. right? what all does it look like is missing to have a complete assembled bke?
I see no carb, no headlamp, no tail lamp, no horn, no chain guard.
what would this rolling chassis be worth as is?
thanks in advance! Gene
