Your broken wire terminal should have a wire which goes to the negative battery terminal. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Hello, we are wiring a 1949 hummer... Where does the negative battery terminal lead go from the battery? We have an original voltage regulator and the left mounting screw has a broken off wire terminal that we kept on for reference. Is there supposed to be a wire there, if so where does it go to? Thank you
