CHUCK
IHAVE WINDSHIELDS THAT FIT THE HUMMERS. THE SHIELD IS MADE OF LEXAN SO IT DOES NOT BREAK.

Wonder where is a source for new one that fits?

A current e-bay ad for an original "hummer" windshield brings back memories. On two occasions I had yellowed old windshields fail. One was a genuine Harley windshield, which blew back when an 18-wheeler passed by going in the opposite direction. When the windshied blew back it cracked all the way across, and stayed in place only because of the plastic tubing which ran along the edges. The other windshied was an aftermarket item. I was adjusting the windshield fittings when my wrench slipped off a nut. When the wrench hit the windshield, the shield shattered into dozens of fragments. Be wary of fitting a windshield that has yellowed from old age.
