LEANDRO: I CAN HELP WITH THE PARTS YOU NEED FOR YOUR 125. DUANE TAYLOR duane@taylorclassiccycles.com ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Thanks for responding! Yeah that's the one I'm in the market for, does anybody know where I can find one? I assume they used those on various machines of the day (you know what assuming does) Does anyone know how hard are to find? Thanks a lot for all responses! Leandro ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- I believe you need an L&L S1 carb unless you have a later cylinder on your 52 ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Thanks Mutt! That definitely makes sense, the thing is tiny. So now I'm on the hunt for a carburetor, which I suppose will be a tough thing to find. Would anybody have any info on who might have one? Any info at all is much appreciates! Leandro ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Your MT50A comes from a 1955-59 Power Products lawn mower. The venturi is only 1/2" is is too small even for a 125cc. You need at least a 5/8" venturi Mutt ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- I am very excited about my project but it'll be a long one, I'm missing a good amount of parts. The bike came with a tillotson MT50A which I gather is not the right one, I'm curious if anyone knows where it came from, maybe a cushman? Anyway I'll be on here asking questions all winter and figured I would make an introduction! I'm in upstate new york. |
