Dave, here is another picture,not a very good scan but you can still see it---Arthur Chapple's Winning Board Track Racer,,,1912. Even though this is a Indian,the HD motor looked and bolted about the same.This picture will help me figure the "CHOPPIN" part out,starting just under seat, down under the engine and back to fork neck is one piece of pipe---The hard tail on the back of the Indian almost looks Hummer-----Hummmmm, things are starting to look up

Its a 1923 J 1200cc,,complete and should run,Joe and I have been kicking the idea around of putting it in a Hummer frame----need to get a better look at Ace's twin Hummer to see how he extened the frame,I belive its in Maggie Valley,NC-----

What is that thang? Looks kinda like a JD motor, but that pfutzerator at the back confuses me (easy to do) - shouldn't it be on the front? Is this an "F" model? Just what is this old boy?
