Dave, Sounds like you had a good time even with the problems. This is the only local run where there are no major highways involved. Just back roads, and we actually get to give the toys to the kids. Temps were better than yours, ours were in the low 40's with sunshine. Hoping to bring both 165's to Oley this year hope to see you there. Norm ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Norm, Glad to find out there are other Hummer owners who don't have any nerve endings left either. Check out the photos from the AMCA Highlands Chapter FYBO ride (including the 200-foot Hummer Ride) at: http://www.highlandschapteramca.com/gallery/2013-11- 30/index.html Afterwards, I found no spark at the plug, and a very, very weak spark from the plug wire to ground. I found a drop of oil on the points (where did that come from?), filed them a little, and now have a nice bright spark at the plug. Dave ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Took the old girl out today for the annual toy run. Kept up with the big bikes at 40 to 45 mph with no problem. |
