I asked the seller for dimensions and he gave the length at 13 1/4 and the width at 12". That didn't seem to fit the dimensions given for the Scat pan. It must have been some type of Harley lightweight saddle, but since the seller couldn't verify fitment I was hesitant to bid a high number. Whatever it is, it sold for $202.50.

Thanks! Are you certain that's a Scat saddle, and not 165/Hummer/Pacer?

I think the seller mis-measured. That was definately a Scat seat, made in 1963

In retrospect, I agree that it was a Scat seat. The mounting bracket is completely different from the -50 seat, the rear edge of the pan has a nearly straight edge between the curves whereas the -50 has a radiused rear edge, and the additional length behind the threaded spring mounting bungs is obvious. Now I know what to look for. The search is on.

Has the Scat saddle, or just the seat pan, ever been reproduced?

Does anyone have a pattern/template of the pan, or have a pan from which one could be made?
