1963 Scat front fender brackets.

Here's where to ask questions and get answers

1963 Scat front fender brackets.

I'm seeing conflicting installation methods in the photos I've found. Do the lower ends of the front fender braces on my '63 Scat go outboard, inboard, or in between the lower bracket halves? Thanks.

you should have 4 halves. 2 for each side. They wrap around the fork tube and connect to each end of the fender braces. There is also a bolt and spacer that connects the top of the fender to the bottom of the triple tree

Thanks, Mutt. I have the parts. I'm trying to figure out how the braces fit in relation to the clamp halves. The '62 Scat factory photo shows them outboard of the outer clamp half, while the '64 photo shows it sandwiched between the clamp halves clamp. I guess it's no big deal, just wondering which way is "correct".
