Need some help on my ignition spark on my 63 Scat. Cleaned and set the plug .040 Champion H-10, cleaned and set both sets of points .018, almost new coil. All parts are almost new. Had spark a few months ago but now I have nothing. Any idea on what to look for? Bike has 470 miles since complete restoration. Thank you for any help.

Thanks Mutt, had a new condenser installed it but still no spark. I can't figure it out because everything is almost new (including wiring harness)??

Check continuity on your wiring, check for oil buildup under your points, run a points file through your points to eliminate glazing, replace your spark plug. Not necessarily in that order.
If none of that works maybe your ignition coil went bad.

Unfortunately I don't know, I bought it redone. I'm starting to think maybe that's my problem, thanks
