I have been searching for Yoder horn for my 57. I thought I read it was 9 inch but am trying to confirm that information. I found a 12 in but looks like it might be long, the question is will it be too long?

YODER HORNS:

THE CORRECT ONE FOR THE "HUMMER BIKE" IS A CHROME PLATED, 2 NOTE BULB HORN. THE BUGLE IS 6 INCHES LONG AND THE BULB ADDS ANOTHER 2- 3/4 IN. THE MOUNTING BRACKET IS PART OF THE CASTING AND HAS
"YODER MFG. CO, LOS ANGELES " CAST IN THE MOUNTING WEB ON ONE SIDE AND " MADE IN USA" ON THE OTHER.
ONE OF THE MANY VARIATIONS BY YODER WAS THE "GOOSE HORN" WHICH WAS ALSO A 2 NOTE HORN BUT IT HAD " GOOSE HORN " CAST INSIDE BUGLE LIP. OTHERWISE IT WAS THE SAME.

YODER MADE MANY VARIATIONS OF THESE HORNS WITH ONE CHROMED ONE HAVING 3 JEWELS ON EACH SIDE OF THE BUGLE AND STILL A 2 NOTE TYPE.
ANOTHER WAS A" PLAIN JANE" WITH THE SAME CASTING AS THE 2 NOTE TYPE BUT PAINTED AND JUST A ONE NOTE REED .

THEY ALSO MADE THE VACUUM OPERATED "WOLF" WHISTLE AND A FEW MODELS IN PLASTIC FOR TRIKES. I HAVE A COLLECTION OF THESE ON THE SHELF.

IF ANYONE NEEDS A YODER HORN, MOUNTING BRACKET OR REBULBING OF ONE I HAVE THE PARTS AND A FEW CORRECT HORNS.
