Thanks for the info pumpguy! I’ve had a hard time finding much if any info on these smaller Bendix scintilla magnetos. There’s quite a lot on the ones that went into the mercury outboards but like you said they’re bigger. The one I found came out of an old Remington Mall 2mg chainsaw. But the points cam didn’t come with it. If you think of any more info or particulars on where I might find parts for them I’d be much appreciated. Thanks again!!

here are the mounting parts top is the outer cam retainer, lower left is the cam, lower right is the arbor

you dont have to look far. I have all the mounting parts as well as the mounting plate and bolts/spacers.

let me get one of these magnetos set up on an actual motor, so I know that the spacers and arbor are right. I have 2 different arbors so I got to see which one is actually right. The cam I have is an extra, so you're good there.

This is the magneto/generator on my 55 Hummer. Does anyone make a refurb/repo generator coil?
