What is Parkerized?

Hello, Is there any where I can find out what the bolts, screws and nut finish is, Cad or Parkerized? I have a 1954 ST I am starting to restore and the parts book does not show the finish. Thanks

I have the list for all rigid frame models and also stock all of the hardware in the correct finishes
