Posted: Fri Aug 04, 2023 10:32 pmI know this is an old thread but I wanted to continue on with the topic. I have an old 48-49 era frame that is in pretty ruff shape but I’m going to use it for a bike to take to Davenport to race next year. The footrest shaft tube is real bent and needs help. I’m thinking about welding a new tube I’ve made in place of the old one and making it so I can use the foot rest shaft (50915-52). If I do this will this modification of the frame make it so I can’t race the bike at Davenport?
