I’m repairing the ear on the brake pedal stop that rests against the pin that runs through the foot rest shaft. It’s off a mid 1950’s st. Anyway I removed the grease zerk while I was welding and a piece of slag got in the threads that the grease zerk threads into. I tried cleaning the threads as best I could but still the zerk won’t thread. I’ve tried to find a tap to clean the threads but I can’t find the correct size. Does anyone know what size thread that zerk is?
