Replacing Stuck Fuel Petcock

Here's where to ask questions and get answers

I've finally gotten up the nerve to try and remove the stuck fuel petcock from my 125 with a pipe wrench. I sure hope I don't wreck the tank.

Another question....Should I use something to cover the threads of the new petcock? Something like Teflon tape that's used on steel pipe ( I know not to use that where gasoline is concerned).

There is a yellow tape that is for oil and gas for the threads.

SUCCESS!!! I managed to remove the stuck petcock without damaging the tank and only minor damage to the petcock.

However, I uncovered another issue. Turns out the removed petcock is some bastardized version of a 125 petcock. It doesn't resemble a stock 165 petcock at all. I purchased the 125 version thinking that's what I have. In the photo below, the removed petcock is on the left and the 125 one is on the right. Can anyone tell me the part number of the one on the left and the model it was used on? I may need to try and find one like it if the stock 165 one won't fit.
