1956 Spring Special
The 1956 Spring Special offered two new colors: Tampico Green and Sun Gold.
These colors were not offered for any other year of lightweight.
The Spring Special was typically offered around April or May. The order blank notes "Prices Effective December 27, 1955".
This could have been a "New Year Special", or perhaps since the new colors were no extra charge,
the prices date merely reflected the currently prevailing prices. We may never know.
