1962 Ranger

The 1962 Ranger was a stripped-down backwoods trail-riding model. It had no front fender, no lights, no speedometer, no horn. The 165cc engine was essentially the same as the 1960-1961 models, but with the lighting coil removed from the magneto.

Harley records production of all 1962 models at 1,983 units. It is thought that about 186 Rangers were built.
